Latest-Development/

This is the daily development build. It is a version of the OS with SSH enabled. It points to the “development” server.

 

Latest-Staging/

This is the QA staging area for production builds. It is a version of the OS with SSH enabled. It is generally updated at the end of each sprint (2 weeks) and reflects the build that exists in production until a new release candidate is prepared here.

 

Latest-Production/

This is the QA approved live production build. It is a version of the OS with SSH DISABLED. It is the retail OS, and generally updated at the end of each sprint (2 weeks).

Create USB Flasher Instructions

 

Windows USB Creator

  • Download Rufus (its a USB boot creator)
  • Download Atari OS image
  • Create USB Installer
    • Run Rufus
    • Choose downloaded / uncompressed image file (atari-flasher.img) to copy
    • Plug in and choose USB to copy image to
    • Rufus should show Partition scheme will be “MBR” and Target System will be “BIOS (or UEFI-CSM)”
    • Click Start
      • Current USB contents will be destroyed in process

Linux USB Creator

  • The bmap-tools utility is packaged for Debian and Ubuntu. Fastest USB device creation method.
  • Download Atari OS image
  • bmaptool copy https://atari:7KTDCnE6HXxTHyqA@images.collabora.com/atari/latest/atari-flasher.img.g z /dev/<device>
